Brian Yost—Editor in Chief 


Brian Yost is a long-time resident of Charlottesville, Virginia, which is in the heart of Central Virginia wine country. He writes and publishes, which began strictly as a blog about Virginia wine. Beginning in late 2014, Brian began to branch out and cover the wine industry in other parts of the Eastern United States.

Brian also serves as Editor in Chief of Wine Tourist Magazine, which strives to cover the “entire” world of wine. He has also written for American Winery Guide, Midwest Wine Press and a handful of Virginia publications. He was also a previous Editor in Chief of Middleburg Life a Northern Virginia lifestyle magazine.

Anne Miaral-Yost—Director of Operations


Anne Miaral-Yost is an avid traveler, foodie and wine lover. In earlier incarnations, Anne earned her Masters Degree from University of the Philippines and a Law Degree from San Beda College of Law. After school, she went on to own and operate a series of successful small businesses, before settling in Charlottesville Virginia. While not busy with the blog, Anne works for a local law firm. She also loves to entertain, because it provides a platform for practicing her significant culinary skills.

Anne is the key to spreading awareness of the Virginia Grape and East-Coast wineries through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
